The Look in Her Eyes

From this moment

Separation

Completely broke her

They look in her eyes

As they stared into mine

And I had but one desire

Seeing her alive again

She continued to scream

Breathless…

Mercy

Terrible awaken

Under the authority of the German army

She’s mad, poor soul

Our flesh… creeping

Auschwitz.

Darkness of the night

Shame in our souls

In front of us flames.
